JIM TSCHAMPL | Senior Construction Manager

Jim is a professional engineer and a registered architect. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, he has worked both as a designer and a builder. This has given him experience on many types of buildings and in many roles. Prior to joining the RedPoint team he founded and ran his own Architecture business for 16 years. During this time, he managed teams of all types with a particular focus on developing his people. All of this experience comes to bear now in his role as an Owner’s Representative.

Relevant Experience

KENDALL SERVICE CENTER | Meridian, Idaho

Provided Owner’s Representative services on this new 107,000 vehicle repair facility. The development includes sub-dividing lots on the 25-acre parcel, constructing the facility from the ground up, and coordinating the purchase and installation of $3 million worth of equipment. Anticipated completion February 2024.

KAUKAUNA HIGH SCHOOL | Kaukauna, Wisconsin

This $10M project required a team of consultants and included classrooms, a large gymnasium and a state-of-the-art weightlifting facility. Constructed with a Design-Bid-Build project, it was delivered on time and in budget.

McNEILUS STEEL | Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

This was a new 104,000 square foot facility built on a fast-track schedule. It included both a pre-engineered metal building for the massive shop area and conventional steel construction for the offices. The shop supported multiple long span overhead cranes and a rail spur.

Plankview Green Shopping Center | Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin

A high-end 43,000 square foot retail center, this building was decked out with fancy arches, lots of glass, dramatic roof lines, stone, and aluminum composite materials. The detailing and careful coordination with all the trades and suppliers made this project sing.

Trinity Lutheran Church | New London, Wisconsin

After their sanctuary was severely damaged by a tornado, my team stepped in to survey the damage and develop a plan. The plan not only salvaged as much as possible but it built back better than before. The final outcome included a rebuilt sanctuary, a new gathering space, and a much-desired front drive through canopy.
