ERIC SAUNDERS | SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Eric is a Senior Project Manager at Redpoint, providing project management services for real estate development and construction with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Eric started his career as a residential framer in college, afterword’s he began working as a project manager for a large civil construction firm. Eventually becoming operations and development manager for a commercial construction company in the Portland area. After, moving on and spending several years working for a
large real estate development / consulting company, Eric started his own consulting firm, since then he has working as an owner’s representative for various clients while developing a few small projects on his own, and has joined Redpoint’s project management team.
Through-out his career Eric has successfully managed a variety of project types, sizes, and complexity. The primary market segments include healthcare, hotels and hospitality, institutional, multifamily housing, office, and retail. The projects have included ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvements. Eric takes pride in creating confidence and long-lasting relationships with all parties involved.
Relevant Experience
JANEY I and JANEY II | Portland, Oregon
Operations Manager for Construction Company. Worked as the Liaison and direct contact with the owner. Project consist of two buildings at the corner of Northwest 12th Ave and Everett St in the Portland Pearl District. Phase one consists of 50 sophisticated and streamlined units and phase 2 consists of 62 similar units. The Janey Apartments are highly sustainable buildings that include green roofs, green walls, automated parking, and roof top amenities.
Flock 13 | Eugene, Oregon
Project Manager for a New student housing facility located in the heart of duck country, project consists of a new 110-unit apartment complex design with the student in mind.
PARKER | Portland, Oregon
Operations Manager – The Parker is a 177-unit apartment development built on a full block in Portland’s Pearl District. This project offers the largest parking stacker system of its type on the West coast with 100 cars. The LEED Platinum complex consists of six stories above grade, with one level of below grade for parking, bicycle parking, and storage for the residents. Common areas include public lobby spaces, community room, fitness center, and leasing offices.
Collins Lake Resort | Government Camp, Oregon
Hired as a Senior Project Manager to develop a strategy for budget and completion that most considered unreasonable. This very challenging project was condensed from 3 years down to 1 summer season and done for 80% of the original cost estimates.
